The Avengers

I went to see the Avengers last night. You guys, you lovely Tumblr guys, got me really excited and eager to see it.

But no. It just couldn’t live up to the hype you created.

It’s not a BAD film, and I love all the actors and their characters. But as my boyfriend put it, for a film where so much is going on, not a lot actually happens.

For us the funniest part was at the beginning where he leant to me and said “It’s Robin from How I Met Your Mother”. Seeing this as stupidly obvious I leant back and said “Look, it’s Samuel L Jackson”. We then giggled for about 5 minutes.

Also, there wasn’t much use of the 3D and so the dents I got from the glasses felt pretty pointless.

But yeah, I didn’t hate it. Just felt a little let down.
